Bridgewater, MA – Sean Kennedy, a Libertarian, has been elected on April 26, 2025, to the Bridgewater Town Council District 3 seat, proving that libertarian principles can triumph at the ballot box.

Kennedy defeated an incumbent by building a coalition of concerned citizens, business owners, independents, Democrats, Republicans, and Libertarians, delivering a message of government neutrality, liberty, individual rights, and constitutional fidelity.

Kennedy’s campaign resonated with voters through fearless calls for accountability, including demanding a fiscal audit to address government waste during town council meetings. “I’m committed to government accountability, ensuring transparent budgeting and common-sense spending of the taxpayer’s dollar,” Kennedy said.

He championed individual taxpayers and families, stood firm against government-imposed social policies, and emphasized that the government should not push social agendas, leaving individuals free to choose their path and associations. By advocating for constitutional fidelity—upholding the Constitution’s protections of individual liberties, limited government, and equal protection under the law—Kennedy addressed voters’ frustrations with high taxes and inefficient local government.

“There is a clear path to victory for those who truly want it,” Kennedy urged. “Run for office, build coalitions, and boldly advocate for our values within your community’s priorities.” If Kennedy can win in Bridgewater by uniting liberty-minded citizens, others can win where they are.
